Snow globes are fascinating to children and many adults, and recently Miss Owl’s mother found kits in the dollar bin (well, $3 bin). So Miss Owl and Miss Frog went to work to create their projects. The instructions are helpful. First, look through all the items in the kit, and identify each one to be familiar with the contents.
This kit is for ages 5+ and has fifteen pieces. So, be sure any kits are appropriate for the children.
This may look somewhat assembled, but most of the pieces are packaged inside the snow globe and must be removed before beginning the craft.
Looking through the contents, small beads and a needle are included. Each item is important for the final result.
Glued items must be held in place for a minute or so until they hold. Sing a song while you wait!
Glue must be added to the outside edges to hold the globe in place. Again, wait while the glue takes hold so it doesn’t fall.
